Honor and Jojo's Pups

Honor views and probably counts her pups.

The first two pictures are at least day four.
The puppies tails were docked on day three

They won't look much like schnauzers until they 3-4 weeks
Their salt and pepper color, like Honor, will replace the browinsh
color that appears now.
I think they look like little german shepherds and doberman pinchers.

The pictures with tails was taken on day 2
Look at he boy standing up to the nipple (second to the right of
Honor's leg) The little black rear with tail next to Honor's leg is the
dark salt and pepper girl.

The standing boy has his tail over his back

All the lighter salt and peppers look alike. The girl, a little smaller,
is on top. She doesn't miss out on the milk. Their are two plus nipples
for each puppy.

This is a more recent picture. The girls are in the middle
facing each other. They are the only ones I can tell apart without
turning them on their backs.

The boys are all about the same size and
are distinguishable only by the difference in lighter marks
under their bowtie.

One mark looks like a kite with a tail. The other mark looks like
a map of north and south america
The one on his back has white tips on his toes.

Honor and Jojo's puppies are HERE

Honor and Jojo's puppies were born on January 12, 2008, on the Birthday of her first litter, January 12, 2005. This birthday litter includes our Starsky and his sisters: Figgy, Gigi, Talula, and Kona. Happy Belated Birthday to YOU, too.

Honor gave birth to 5 salt and pepper puppies, 3 boys and 2 girls. It was a laborious and joyous event for Honor. She had the experience of 2 puppies whelped naturally, and 3 waited on puppies that required a C-section. Everyone is doing quite well this morning and Honor seemed very pleased.

Honor is definitely pleased with her pups. Since Honor's previous litters were whelped naturally, she evidently wondered about this C-Section that her sister and other "experienced" girls at Baraka must have bragged about. Honor evidently wanted that experience, too. I certainly didn't need or want that experience for Honor. She now has the status of Your Honorable Honor to all the dogs and girls of Baraka.

With a new litter, everything is changed. The older dogs won't get to actually see the new puppies for a while, but new smells and "vibes"are something to sing and shout about. It is always especially interesting to watch and listen to the newest "tweeney's" experience the sights and sounds of new babies. Melody and Rio are almost ten months, but were our last babies. To the older teenagers, Loosey and Hitches (now 17 months), this puppy birth, is old/new stuff. After all, they welcomed the babies of March 2007

At eight t0 twelve weeks there will probably be a boy or two for sale and probably a girl. The pick of boys and girls is already been claimed, put serious inquiries for excellent pets are invited. Uncropped pets at eight weeks are at least $900. It is much too early to visit if you have other dogs, but we can talk.

Pictures Soon, but I am too tired and have too much to do at this moment

Also, Belated Happy New Year to You and all the Baraka puppies at Your house.
